Stanford Newman, with the help of Carlos Fuente, Sr., began initiating the production of an exquisite cigar in 1991, better known as the Diamond Crown. This superior smoke was created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the J.C. Newman Cigar Company. The line of cigars was an innovative creation of Newman’s that saw no limit in cost, time and marketing expenses. Stanford Newman, now in his mid 70’s, decided to produce the most superb cigar of his time, thus surpassing all cigars from the last 5 decades. He wanted the richest smoothest and most favorable smoke on the market; and this is just what he created!  The Diamond Crown is a thick cigar with a large ring that permits the blend of 6 to 7 tobacco leaves, making it a complex combination of tobaccos. This is what makes this cigar an outstanding one.
