The Cohiba cigar was created in the Dominican Republic by Diaz y Cia in 1978; however the Word, Cohiba, was initially heard by Christopher Columbus five centuries prior. This cigar was recreated in the 1990’s, and is the only Cohiba smoke that can legally be sold in America today.  After years of development in the Dominican Republic, the Cohiba is one not to forget.  It has a dark   opulent wrapper leaf that is grown in the subtropical Cameroon climate of West Africa, while its Jember binder is grown in Indonesia. The smooth taste of the Piloto Cubano filler leaves add to the rich flavor of its wrapper. The Domincan Cohiba cigar is one that you will not soon forget, due to its fascinating history and intense flavor, both of which do not over power its smokers!
