A beer and an afternoon of cigar utopia. This cigar will not leave you dry and thirsty in the middle of the desert. The Godfather likes the The Oliva O Oasis (Torpedo) 6 x 52.

The best of the best; the crème de la crème, the euphoria of smoking something so good, you just can’t put it down. Every draw of the cigar is rapturous utopia at its best. The Oliva O Bold.  You can’t put it down even when it is burning your tweezers just to smoke it.

The Oliva O Oasis (Torpedo) 6 x 52

The Oliva family really outdid themselves with this cigar.  This family is one of the, if not the largest tobacco grower in Nicaragua. They have been around the block. They have been around since way before the upsurge in interest of cigar in the early 90’s and have continued to produce superb cigars when other manufactures fell into bankruptcy.  There “O” line is catered to the smoker who loves a more full bodied cigar. The “O” that I am reviewing today will rank right up there with my all time favorites.

This Oliva is only made with the best Habano filler, binder and the best sun grown Habano wrapper. It is great to look at and a pleasure to smoke.  There are not many full bodied cigars that are as smooth as a 18 year old scotch, but this one is.  For $6 a smoke, this Nicaraguan puro will delight your senses and leave you begging for more.

As most of the Oliva products, the construction and appearance of this cigar are equally perfect. I almost never have a problem with the burn or the cigar staying together. This cigar proved no exception. Once I lit this one up, I knew it was going to be great.  It smokes so evenly and draws so smoothly.  The hint of cedar fills the air as I light it up and began puffing away.

Half way down, the cigar is still perfect. It burns so nice and smooth and taste so rich, yet never overpowering. The smoothness of the smoke will surprise you.  The tobacco has been aged for over 5 years and it shows every minute of it.  There is not any trace of harshness nor any hint of ammonia.  Give yourself plenty of time to relax and savor this cigar as it is one that you will want to treat yourself too on the weekend or after your team wins the Super Bowl.

I would recommend this cigar to anyone looking for a smooth smoking experience. Even the newbie’s would love this cigar. It isn’t too strong to knock them off their socks, but just strong enough to let you know this is a Man’s cigar, but the great thing is, it is also as gentle as a kitten.  I can’t write enough good things about this cigar so I will leave it at this.

You can spend $6 on many different smokes, but you will never, ever be sorry to smoke this cigar.

If you have any suggestions or any cigars you would like for me to review, please send me an e-mail at: and I will be happy to give it a review for you!
