Another super saver bundle from Flor De Oliva
I have only two more reviews to go with the Oliva line and I can move on to something else. I know this has to get boring for the readers. I prefer to mix it up, but I bought some cigars of this line and I need to review them, so here it goes.
The Flor De Oliva Corojo ( Pronounced Co-ro-ho) 6 x 50 Torpedo was an excellent smoke. This is, of course, a bundled smoke that comes 25 to a bundle. Overall, I was impressed with their Corojo wrapper. From what I have read, the Corojo wrapper is quite hard to grow due to the tender nature of the plant. Well, Flor De Oliva must have done something right because this wrapper was great.
The usual 100% all Nicaraguan long fillers complemented this Corojo and produced and medium to medium-full smoke with just a hint of spiciness. Flor de Oliva lived up to their usual standards of quality construction, even burn, excellent draw, and great price. This cigar burned great all the way. It had a nice “ring of fire” all around the cigar that was perfect. It didn’t burn too fast nor smoke too hot. I would recommend this cigar to someone that is ready to move up to something that has a fuller taste, but doesn’t want to break the bank.
This cigar produced a good amount of smoke and did not leave any harsh tastes in my mouth. I was impressed with their version of the Corojo. When I want a great Corojo, I usually get a Camacho cigar but that cigar runs around $5 to $6 a stick, so I have found that the Flor De Oliva Corojo will satisfy my desire for this wrapper and not break the bank.
You can buy a bundle of these for $42 with shipping line so at $1.69 a stick that is a good deal. You can purchase them online from most retailers.
